Corrugated Manufacturing Software 'Goose'
The Goose (a fully integrated Windows based management
system) was born in 2002, the brain-child of a technological
wizard and an ambitious and forward-thinking management
team. Years later it proves to have paid off, with our
customers safe in the knowlege that their orders are in
capable hands of cutting edge Information Technology.
Organisation is key to our success here at Ablebox Limited, where
we boast a 1.4 gigabyte database. From this hub of information
we control the full retail process - from scheduling the
first contact with a prospective customer, through the
design and manufacturing processes, right through to the
GPS tracking of your order as it reaches you.
Not only is Goose one of the most comprehensive management
system in the industry, but probably the fastest developing
too. Instead of contracting our computer systems externally,
we have an in-house team of I.T. specialists to overlook
the day-to-day running of our systems. This means that
technical queries are answered immediately; adjustments
and improvements are performed on request, and thus development
occurs naturally on a daily basis.
We are currently working towards a
paperless office, whereby most communications will be
by email or telephone, or by means of our latest digital
ordering tool - Milo.

Data Collection For Corrugated Plants 'Egg' March 2006 saw the introduction of
touchscreen terminals on the production lines. To begin
with, these terminals provided feedback from jobs being
processed, helping us to tailor and optimise the manufacturing
process. The 'Egg' terminals integrate directly with
our management system, enabling accurate forecasting
and estimation.
Egg has since evolved even further, and now is the channel
for communicating fully detailed specifications straight
to the production lines, providing the necessary measurements;
print styles, and any specific customer requirements.
Egg has also enabled us to provide a customised pallet
label service whereby your company name and logo can
be displayed on each pallet alongside general information
such as quantities; batch numbers and your reference
code.

Internet Packaging Ordering System 'Milo'
Milo - an internet based tool for
sales order processing, was introduced in January 2007.
It's purpose is to streamline ordering and processing
of orders. This in turn reduces the lead time and, for
our staff here at Ablebox Limited, relieves the workload considerably.
You too can also benefit from these savings by taking
advantage of our free Milo system.
It's as easy as ticking boxes in a familiar Windows
environment and then clicking 'Send'. You order is then
transmitted via email where it is then cross-checked
against stock levels before returning to you a confirmation
email. Milo also supports order logging whereby you
can keep track of what you've ordered, and can also
produce warehouse stocktaking paperwork to make the
ordering process even easier.
Milo can be used within your company regardless of the
size because, with multi-site support, you can choose
where and when your orders will be delivered.
